Participants (productions/shows/artists) will be selected on non-juried, non-censored basis (meaning creative works are not reviewed for "quality" prior to submission and acceptance into the festival).
After all the applications are in, participating artists are selected by randomly through LOTTERY.
100% of all door/ticket sales go to the performing artists.
We schedule performances in an appropriate venue based on schedule requirements, schedule conflicts, and technical needs.
SHOW RUNNING TIMES: 45-60 minutes. The maximum running time is 60 minutes. (Lights will go down at 60 minutes.)
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Fringe venues provide audio playback and limited lighting. Storage of sets and props is limited. All artists have 15 minutes for set up and 15 minutes to strike.
SHOW SUBMISSIONS: FringePVD STRONGLY discourages the recycling of scripts that are (or have been) produced by regional and community theatres. This is a platform for "outside of the box" and "new works." We are particularly interested in post-fringe advancement.
HOUSING: Traveling artists are responsible for their own housing. FringePVD is not able to provide you with housing.
Tickets for all performances available at the door for $5 - $10
