Every great Fringe needs an award ceremony, and FringePVD does not disappoint!  But, like everything at FringePVD, we like to make things a bit different.  Rather than a pre-selected stable of award categories, we invite YOU, our audience, to CREATE your own Fringe Award!

For the 3rd year, our favorite local arts-scene bon vivant, Matthew Lawrence from the Law and Order Party, will curate and host our FringePVD awards.  Throughout the festival, you can nominate an artist for an award of your own creation.  Matthew will comb through the nominations and hand-select the most original and creative awards to be presented during our Fringe Closing Party on August 1st.

NOW FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS...

1.  Enjoy as many FringePVD performances as you can between July 19th-August 1st

2. When you see something amazing….nominate it for an award!  Name the artist and title the category.  A few examples are:  Sam Jones for Most Flexible, or Betty’s Badass Show for Best Use of a Live Watermelon. 

3. Post your award nomination to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #FringePVDAwards, and be sure to tag @FringePVD and @lawandorderparty!

4. Tune into the livestreamed Fringe Closing Party on Saturday August 1st at 9pm to see if your award was chosen
