Performed by Scranton, Pennsylvania-based pianist and composer, Zach Sprowls's, All Beginnings Are Hard is an instrumental telling of what it's like to start over. Zach uses elements of neoclassical minimalism, melody, aching harmony, and electronic synthesis to translate his own life experiences into a deeply-felt journey for listeners. Zach's music has been featured on KEXP radio and performed by members of the US Army Strings and The National Symphony Orchestra. ABOUT THE ARTIST Zach Sprowls is a pianist and composer based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After obtaining a degree in music, he worked for several years as a church music director, music teacher, and freelancer in various places around the United States. In 2018, he moved back home where he currently works as a pianist and composer for film, theater, church, and streaming. His work has been performed by members of the National Symphony Orchestra and the U.S. Army Strings and has been featured on highly-acclaimed KEXP radio. In addition to music, he also writes regularly on Substack about art and creativity. |
