About the artists

Henry Kerr (me) is a junior at URI studying Theatre with a concentration in acting. He's been in a handful of shows during his prior two years at CCRI and with the community theatre Roundabout Productions (most prominently, Much Ado About Nothing, A Christmas Carol, and Assassins). He has also put on some live performances of his own like a Twenty One Pilots cover show and Prisoner's first staged reading at the CCRI ACTF showcase.

DESCRIPTION OF PIECE:

Prisoner is about a boy in has late teens dealing with an overly controlling voice in his head that also happens to be a separate character in the show. It's a short ~20 minute play that explores themes of OCD-like behavior, self-care, and how to get a girlfriend.
