DESCRIPTION OF PIECE

From actor John Morello comes a mesmerizing performance
of T.S. Eliot’s classic poem, The Waste Land. Accompanied by an original ambient score blended with captivating images, video, and projections, this 45-minute performance is a multi-sensory invitation to one of the most important poems of the 20th century. Part actor, shaman, and Tik-Tok user, Morello effortlessly switches, swipes, and inhabits the poem’s characters taking audiences around the world, through time, and into the broken images of a human psyche. See why The Atlantic Monthly raves “One hundred years after publication…its vision has never been more terrifying.
