DESCRIPTION OF PIECE

After one long night, Jacob is given the gift of a large wooden chest. He struggles to lift it as he tries to bring it home. Curiously, he fiddles at its lock and scratches at its door with little success to peeking what is inside. On the verge of giving up, he discovers a tattered note that simply says, “return.” Told through a mesmerizing fusion of still images, shadowbox theater, and projection mapping, this fairy tale takes audiences on a beautifully chaotic journey.
