Two Passengers features two related one-act plays written by Boston-based playwright Jackson Bailey and featuring actors Marina Kosor and Ari Bird. These plays touch on transition, migration, and change. The first short play, "Geese, Not Gooses," is a day in the life of two Canada geese, Hughes and Glenn, in Florida as they prepare for their annual migration north. The second short play, “Until the Asteroid Falls,” follows a couple as they discover that the world is ending. They make plans for their last night together. ABOUT THE ARTIST Jackson Bailey is a Boston based playwright with a BA in Writing, Literature and Publishing from Emerson College. Jackson has had two of his plays produced as a part of Emerson College's NewFest Short Works. He is interested in topics of migration, travel, and transition. How do we feel when we leave a home behind? What homes are in our future? Recently Jackson has performed as part of the long-form improvisational troupe This is Pathetic. |
