​"SEEING RED AGAIN" is a powerful story; told through dance, music and poetry, depicting how love is sometimes lost and the cruel reality of abuse starts setting in. One must make an onerous effort to regain strength and self-esteem while trying to process the difficulties and heartbreak. The ups and downs of LOVE & HATE shine through on this 8&1 Stage. Join us as we share this story of conflict; self-love and reality, versus ideals, memories and romanticization. When and how does one begin to take their life back without first "Seeing Red Again"?

ABOUT THE ARTIST

​Jill S. Rucci is Founder, and Director of 8&1 Dance Company Dallas (Est. 2011) and 8&1 Dance Company East (Est. 2019). She recently opened 8&1 Studios East; a hub for professional and aspiring artists and students, to create, train & perform. Jill has trained, taught, performed and presented her choreography and productions in many cities including Boston, Los Angeles, Dallas, Baton Rouge, New York and Olbia, Italy. The 8&1 Dance Company's mission is to Work, Sweat, Rehearse, Perfect, and Perform. We strive to reach out to the community and empower and inspire the audience, through our stories.​
