DESCRIPTION:
Dance vignettes inspired by New York in the 1950s. The program will include dances choreographed by Nancy Reed - "Butterfly Hurricane", a piece about negentropy vs entropy, and "how did we get to where we are?" with guest artist percussionist Jonathan Silverblatt and "Writer's Block Sock', a delightfully wacky piece that imagines the creative process.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Balliamo has been active in Rhode Island for 15 years including appearances at the PVD Fringe for the past 7 years. Our performances have showcased many artists from the rich cultural diversity of Rhode Island including musicians, poets and choreographers.
